Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-04-08
Iqraa ("we,”
“our,” or “us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we
handle your data when you use our mobile application ("App").
1. Information
Collection and Use
The App is designed to work primarily on your
device. We do not require you to create an account, and we do not intentionally
collect direct personal information such as your name, email address, or phone
number through the App itself. However, the App uses third-party analytics and
crash-reporting services to help us understand app usage, diagnose crashes, and
improve reliability.
Local Data
Storage
Any data you create or import within the App, such
as playlists, reading progress, and settings, is stored locally on your device.
Analytics Data
Our analytics services may collect limited usage and
device-related information so we can understand how the App is used and improve
it. We use this information only for product analytics and improvement, not for
advertising or data sales.
Crash Diagnostics
Our crash-reporting services may collect crash and
diagnostics information so we can investigate errors, app hangs, and
reliability issues.
2. App
Permissions
To function correctly, the App requires access to
certain features on your device. We request permission only when necessary.
- Audio & Media: The App uses your device’s audio capabilities to play content. It may
use a foreground service to ensure playback continues when the screen is
off or you are using other apps.
- Storage & Files: The App requires access to your device’s storage (Photo Library or
File System) to allow you to import custom playlists or audio files (.iqraa files) and to save your preferences.
- Internet Access: The App may access the internet to stream specific media content,
open external links, and send analytics and crash diagnostics through our
service providers.
3. Third-Party
Services and Links
The App uses third-party analytics and
crash-reporting service providers. These services process limited analytics and
diagnostics data on our behalf so we can improve the App and fix stability
problems. The App may also contain links to third-party websites or services,
for example when you initiate a “Share” action. We are not responsible for the
privacy practices of those third parties.
We do not use the App for third-party advertising,
and we do not knowingly sell your personal information.
4. Children’s
Privacy
The App is intended for general audiences and does
not knowingly collect direct personal information from children under the age
of 13. However, the App may collect limited analytics and crash-diagnostics
data through the services described above.
5. Your Choices
If you do not want the App to send analytics or
diagnostics data, you can stop using the App and uninstall it at any time.
Depending on your device platform and settings, your operating system may also
provide controls related to analytics, diagnostics, or advertising identifiers.
6. Changes to
This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time.
We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this
page or within the App. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy
periodically for any changes.
